RP Patnaik is a versatile cinema loving, passionate personality. He is identified more by Telugu audience as a superb music director and less as an artist or director. Yet, this isn’t stopping RP from experimenting his itch with acting and direction. After ‘Broker, Tulasidalam,’ here comes his next act as ‘Manalo Okadu’ hitting the screens on November 4th.
‘Manalo Okadu’ is said to be a subject of lethal attack by a common man against media questioning the values, ethics followed in current journalism. So, RP has touched a controversial point and learnt to have narrated the theme boldly. Joining him on ‘Manalo Okkadu’ is forgotten heroine and director Teja’s find out Anitha Hassanandini of ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ fame.
It is going to be a tough play for RP to take the strong opposition ‘Naruda DONORuda, Appatlo Okadundevadu’ releasing on the same date. If not commercial applause, RP can least expect a critic’s applause for his film.
