Multi-starrer trend in current generation was started by Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh with 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. The more the crazy combination is set and so the better business of the films is done. We've witnessed a couple of multi-starrers got materialized post the release of 'SVSC'. However, they haven't got great responses from the audiences.
Lately, it was speculated that Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej and Nandamuri hero Kalyan Ram would be teaming up for a multi-starrer film to be directed by AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary. The movie is expected to be bankrolled by KS Ramarao on Creative Commercials.
There have been mixed responses with the combo of Mega and Nandamuri heroes from movie lovers. While mega fans felt Sai Dharam Tej should dominate the show both with his character and performance, Nandamuri fans have also delivered similar opinions. Moreover, the title 'Ramakrishna' may also stir controversy, as one hero's name comes first while the other's next. In short, fans of both the heroes wish their heroes prove their mettle as solo heroes in movies.
Movie analysts however, are of the opinion that young heroes should come forward to create the trend of multi-starrers and to expand the market of Telugu films. "There shouldn't be any ego clashes among them while working together for healthy multi-starrers," they reckoned.
