When everyone thought that Bellamkonda Suresh has his own set of reasons showing the exit door for Abhishek Pictures and taking in Ravindra Reddy as producer for Boyapati Srinu-Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas project, here we tried to dig more. When Suresh himself is said to be the producer behind bankrolling this project, why is Abhishek Nama sidelined?
Reports say, Abhishek formally agreed to invest a share of budget during the initiation and launch of this project. However, Abhishek Pictures is informed to have suffered huge losses in their recent distribution business. Except ‘Srimanthudu, Manam,’ none of their films fared really well. Abhishek when expressed his intention to step back from Boyapati movie due to financial doldrums in distribution business, immediately Bellamkonda responded with an official press note released replacing the name with Ravindra Reddy.
Apparently, Abhishek Pictures declared their entry into production with a bang on five projects. Except ‘Hunterr’ remake and Nikhil’s ‘Keshava;’ rest of the three are yet to arrive on sets. Now, one among these three is declared dropped. So, rest of the two projects are also small budgeted with a moderate casting. That’s where Abhishek tried to balance the equation by exiting from the only high budgeted film in his list. In fact, Abhishek's latest release 'Mana Oori Ramayanam' failed to recover publicity cost.
