Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni's craze is growing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. Touted to be a historical entertainer, the movie's theatrical rights for Guntur and Krishna areas are heard to have been sold out to record prices among Balakrishna's films.
According to the buzz, the movie's Guntur area's rights were sold out for Rs.4.50 crores to Sudhakar of 'S' pictures on NRA basis excluding prints and publicity. On the other hand, Krishna area's rights of the film were bagged by Bakery Prasad for Rs.3.60 crores on NRA excluding prints and publicity.
It was earlier reported that Ceded area's rights of the movie were also fetched Rs.9 crores for the makers. 'GPS' has Shriya in female lead role while veteran Bollywood's dream girl Hema Malini played Balakrishna's mother role. The movie is being directed by Krish on his own banner First Frame Entertainment.
