Ever since the role being played by Stylish Star Allu Arjun from his upcoming film 'DJ - Duvvada Jagannadh' has been leaked, there have been comparisons between DJ and Young Tiger NTR's 'Adhurs'. It is being informed that Allu Arjun plays a role of Brahmin in the film.
However, Allu Arjun's 'DJ' should be bigger than 'Adhurs' under any circumstances at the box office. 'Adhurs', actually, got mixed results in Telugu states then. Since Telangana movement was intensified during 'Adhurs' release, the movie was lifted in all Telangana theaters after its two weeks run. Subsequently, the movie incurred losses in the region. While in Ceded and Andhra regions, the movie stood as a decent hit.
Now that 'DJ' is being made as a heavy budget film, it needs to score a blockbuster unlike 'Adhurs'. Moreover, Allu Arjun's 'Sarrainodu' stood as the biggest grosser of the year. Obviously, 'DJ' is expected to be one of the big hits of next year. It remains to be seen how well this Harish Shankar's directorial gets shaped up and performs better.
