Upasana's Helping Hand to Underprivileged Children
Mega Power Star Ram Charan always takes an initiative extending his helping hand to the needy. Especially, the star is very prompt at rescuing the victims through sending food packets and other relief measures during natural disasters.
Ram Charan's better half Upasana seems to have been following the footsteps of her husband in serving the society. Meanwhile, Upasana is all set to lend a helping hand to the downtrodden children with impaired hearing.
"Every year approximately 5-6% of the total Indian population is afflicted with a hearing problem of some magnitude. It became imperative to start an organization, which would help those who couldn't afford the expensive treatments associated with impaired hearing.
SAHI (Society to Aid the Hearing Impaired) is an Indian NGO aimed at helping underprivileged children with impaired hearing. To date it has helped many children fulfill their dreams of hearing normally and has given hope to many more.I am very proud of Apollo Foundation's association with SAHI," posted Upasana in her fb and twitter pages.
