Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni's theatrical rights are buzzed to have been sold for a record price of Rs.9 crores for Ceded area to Bellari Sai. This record business has shocked the movie buffs.
It is heard that the AP government is contemplating to give tax exemption for the film. Since Balakrishna happens to be close relative of Chandrababu Naidu and being an MLA of Hindupur constituency, the film is expected to get tax exemption quite easily. Usually, the movies which get tax exemption fetch double the amounts than to that of their actual market prices.
Hema Malini reprises the role of Balakrishna's mother in the film. Shriya Sharan plays the role of a princess. The movie's music is being scored by Chirantan Bhatt. Krish is directing the movie on his own banner First Frame Entertainment. Rajiv Reddy is the co-producer.
