Victory Venkatesh seems to have made well use of politics and Krishna Pushkaralu for the better mileage of his latest offing 'Babu Bangaram'. During the pushkara days, the makers went on aggressive publicity in print media. Everyday, an important traditional ritual was imprinted on the movie's publicity images.
And then, Venkatesh, himself, moved closely with the TDP's MLAs and other leaders when the former visited Vijayawada to take a holy dip. And recently, the makers have conveyed their wishes to AP and Telangana governments on their success in conduct of Pushkaralu. As such, the makers have used pushkaralu and politics to the fullest for the successful run of the movie at the box office.
Meanwhile, 'Babu Bangaram' minted Rs.20+ crores and is still earning bucks. Yet, the film needs to get added a few more crores to reach break even. The movie was directed by Maruthi on Sitara Entertainment. Nayantara is the heroine.
