Since Prince Mahesh is working with Murugadoss, one of the top directors down South, obviously, expectations on the project are skyrocketing. Now that US is the area where Mahesh is too strong at his market, the makers are reportedly dreaming to get big bucks from the territory through selling out theatrical rights of the film.
If the speculations are anything to go by, the makers are expecting between Rs.20 cr. and 25 cr. from Overseas. As Mahesh's previous film recorded a disaster at the box office, buyers are not in a position to acquire the movie's rights for the said amount. They are reportedly willing to get the Telugu and Tamil versions' rights for an affordable price of Rs.15 crores.
Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam' was bought for Rs.13 crores by the buyers. However, the film could not even collect half of its deal. As such buyers wish to buy the movie's rights to Rs.15 crores for Overseas. The movie will hit screens during summer season of next year.
