The sweat sucking procedural try-outs from Allu Aravind camp and Geetha Arts office to secure Allu Sirish, a decent and promising hero tag are worked positively. In fact, ‘Srirasthu Shubhamasthu’ made with formulaic content based on emotions between family members and romantic angle was a safe, secure project on any terms. Director and writer Parasuram succeeded in making audience to at least forget about Sirish’s last two less unrecognized movies ‘Gouravam’ and ‘Kotha Janta.’
‘Srirasthu Shubhamasthu’ opened to positive reviews and climax portions fetched Sirish, an actor image because performing opposite to seasoned artist like Prakash Raj isn’t an easy task. Parasuram designed the climax with lots of ‘Bommarillu’ inspiration which is again openly admitted by the team and accepted by audience.
Definitely, ‘‘Srirasthu Shubhamasthu’ might not have blessed Sirish a much needed stardom something like ‘Arya’ for Bunny or ‘Magadheera’ for Ramcharan but for sure it gave a morale boosting confidence for Sirish to move forward for next projects with positive mindset and audience slowly started to wipe off their negative opinions on this young Allu hero. The task set is achieved.
