Mega and Kapoor families are considered to be the two families of Indian film industry that have maximum number of stars and successful heroes with them. Yet again, there are some differences which make mega family more significant than Kapoor's family.
Kapoor family includes Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor Shashi Kapoor, Randir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Karan Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Sanjana Kapoor and so on. Although Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, Randir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor got the star statuses, none of the heroes were proved to be number ones. It was Dilip Kumar who ruled Bollywood in 50s and early 60s and Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor and others took subsequent positions. Rajesh Khanna emerged as Super star in early 70s and he was succeeded by Bg B Amitabh. Meanwhile, Kapoor's family expanded upto hree generations and no single generation produced more than two star heroes from the family.
On the other hand, mega family comprises Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej and Allu Sirish. Unlike Kapoor's family mega family has already produced two number ones Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Moreover, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have bright chances to occupy the same positions. Unlike Kapoor family, all heroes of mega family are ruling the roost in the contemporary generation though Chiranjeevi made his debut in the previous generation.
