In response to the bandh call issued by the opposition parties two days ago seeking special category status to AP, the CM Chandrababu Naidu gave a call to his party's activists to go ahead with Japan style protests, which initiates work culture instead of damaging the properties.
CBN has taken all the necessary care to suppress bandh call of the opposition parties using his administrative and police powers. On the contrary, people, themselves, voluntarily took part in the bandh by closing offices, educational institutions and shops.
And today, the Congress and other political parities were inspired by CBN's call of making Japanese style of protests. They swept the roads with brooms in front of the houses of MPs Sujana Chowdari and other TDP's top brass to express their anguish on TDP for not making any agitations for AP's special status. Although the Congress party obeyed the orders of the TDP's head, the latter used police force again and got them arrested. Analysts say CBN is in a deep shocker with the unity of the people and opposition parties in connection with the demand on AP's special status.
