In spite of negative reports floating around, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' has done an astonishing business in the opening weekend of its run. According to the trade buzz, the movie collected around Rs.90 crores share in the first weekend's run including all of its versions.
'Kabali', however, should cross Rs.160 crores share to reach break even. As such, the movie should maintain the same momentum upto to its second weekend's run. On the other hand, trimmed version of the film will be screened by the exhibitors from today. If the movie's collections fall drastically from today, the movie will suffer losses. If not, the movie will definitely reach the safe shores.
Directed by Pa Ranjith 'Kabali' has Radhika Apte in female lead role. The movie has its music scored by Santhosh Narayanan. Kalaipuli S Thanu has produced the movie.
