The AP financial minister, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu told the media men yesterday that the AP government would acquire Sakshi newspaper and Sakshi news channel within two or three days. He also added the union government gave its nod for acquiring Sakshi media while the President of India had given his approval.
Sakshi is one among the few media in AP which focuses on government's failures. It is also being said that MSOs of coastal district have already stopped telecasting Sakshi channel's programs today, in connection with Mudragada's deeksha.
