Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam' is hitting the cinemas today across the globe. The movie, which has been eagerly awaited by the fans, has done an impressive theatrical pre release business of Rs.72.25 crores. Prints and publicity may be costed around Rs.2 to 3 crores. Altogether, the movie needs to collect a consolidated sum of Rs.75-76 crores share world wide to be termed as a hit.
Brahmotsavam has been directed by Srikanth Addala, who earlier worked with Mahesh for a multi-starrer film 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Potluri Vara Prasad has produced the movie on PVP Cinema.
Kajal, Samantha and Pranitha have teamed up with Mahesh in this family entertainer. Satyaraj will be seen as Mahesh's father. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music of the film while Rathnavelu has done cinematography.
