Entire film industry is eagerly awaiting the release of Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam'. The movie has been promoted to be releasing in 2000 screens across the globe, which means it should be released in at least 1000 screens in Telugu states.
But then, latest reports suggest that the movie will not be releasing maximum screens in various centers of Telugu states than expected due to numerous factors. We are hearing that the movie would be releasing in 7 theaters in Rajahmundry and 9 theaters in Kakinada. In Guntur, Nellore, Eluru and in most other 'A' centers, single digit number of screens will be allotted for the movie. Recent big movies like 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', 'Sarrainodu' etc. got much bigger release than 'Brahmotsavam'.
It is a common practice that class and family movies are allotted less number of screens than mass entertainers. Primarily, this factor is responsible for the below par screens release of 'Brahmotsavam' which most of the filmy buffs don't know.
This summer witnessed three successful films of various genres. Stylish Star Allu Arjun's oora mass entertainer 'Sarrainodu', hero Suriya's amazing Sci-Fi thriller '24' and Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej's mass-comedy 'Supreme' are running with rock steady collections at the moment and the exhibitors of these movies are reluctant to replace these movies with 'Brahmotsavam' in main theaters. However, some of the netigens are reportedly misunderstood the situation and are slinging mud on 'Sarrainodu' and its producers. Nonetheless, movies like 'Brahmotsavam' have bright chances to have a long run. Long ago, many of Victory Venkatesh's family entertainers became blockbusters due to their long run. Obviously, 'Brahmotsavam' is also expected to be a blockbuster with a huge support from family audience.
