Young director Bobby was the name resounding all around when he was picked for ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ by Pawan Kalyan. In fact, it was a long drawn selection process wherein Sampat Nandi was also first in and then out. As per insiders, Pawan impressed with Bobby’s directorial skills in debut film ‘Power’ made the choice because story, script and direction co-ordination was completely in control of Power Star hands.
During pre release promotions, Pawan almost gulped Bobby’s credits and we all knew the exact reason why such things happen. In fact, Bobby’s image isn’t damaged post ‘Sardaar’ release. His credentials are the same, before ‘Sardaar’ and after ‘Sardaar’ but one area where he would be surely pained with is missing out a big opportunity of delivering powerful blockbuster with such a powerful star.
