Though the tickets are being sold out like hot cakes with prices go up with the denominations of thousands in single screens and special fans shows, fans have extremely been disappointed with the multiplexes as the bookings were not yet opened both in online and in offline.
Buzz is that financial hassles running between the filmmakers and the multiplex owners is the cause of delaying of advance bookings in multiplexes. Over a long time, it has become a common practice for the multiplex owners not paying advances to the distributors unlike single screen exhibitors. Moreover, they pay distributor's share after the release of two or three months of the movie's release.
SGS makers, however, decides to break the convention. They reportedly demanded the advances from multiplex owners. Also they sought a hike in distribution share. Multiplex owners feel this change would be continued with other big films in the future and are hesitating to oblige the demands of the filmmakers. The issues are expected to be solved tonight or tomorrow.
