Sardaar Gabbar Singh Trailer- An Analysis

When the goons cut loose, shooting the innocent people, the background is left empty, completely! the acting is only staged in front of the camera. The framing, composition and blocking of the characters are amateur, in few frames the characters are confined to a limited space, the frames look empty, the lenses used doesn't make sense.  Again what should be a busy road is left empty, blocking the characters on one side of the road, which looks more like a theatre staging rather than a movie where Brahmanandam and Pawankalyan face off with guns, Other instance being, the dancers facing opposite to the camera and Pawan Kalyan in the middle of the dancers, there's no art work on the walls and lot of empty space left in the foreground after all that, its a still frame. Enough extras aren't used where Bhairav Singh walks towards a temple. These empty spaces kill the visuals particularly of this genre.

A long shot and a vast land of the mines would reflect what the antagonist wants, and shows how greedy he is. in this case it looks a low scale affair, even the vehicles look acting for the camera. One doesn't mind the length of the trailer as long as it is interesting, there are few unwanted shots which doesn't belong in the trailer, obsession with the legs of protagonist and antagonist, Pawan kalyan's playful act on the swinging horse (Since we know the character already), those things are avoidable. Visuals doesn't show how big the blasts are, it looks more like Diwali crackers bursting, A sky in the B.G, A road or some vehicles would have easily depicted the scale of the blasts. Actual blast at coal mines, shows the scale of the blast, with sky and mountains in the background as a reference.
