If a fantasy Rattanpur backdrop created for ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ has the native touch to connect with North Indian audience, then it’s too good for Power Star Pawan Kalyan stepping for the first time on Bollywood soil, although it’s a dubbed version. EROS International distribution house is promoting Hindi ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ as intensely as a direct Hindi product and securing 800 release screens is not a joke.
Pawan Kalyan and Sharat Marar never had a thought to eye for a Bollywood release, earlier when they have launched the project two years ago. Only with entry of EROS into business scenario under Sharat Marar’s influential role, they have come up with the new Hindi release strategy. Apparently, ‘Sardaar’ rights are bagged by EROS for a stupendous figure and they wanted to make best profits out of it.
After ‘Sardaar’ Hindi trailer released two days back, the message is clear. Neither there was lip sync in dialogues nor was a proper Bollywood flavor in it. Pawan might have sensed the artificiality in Hindi product but secret is wide and open, when EROS is into scene… Pawan and Sharat find no importance in business decision making process.
