There might have been numerous election promises, which were incorporated in the elections manifesto, the TDP broke them quite easily. However, the ruling party is bound to fulfill three election promises else, it appears the TDP can't go for general polls in 2019.
The BJP assured the people of residual AP to announce special status for the state for ten years. Nevertheless, nothing of that sort was happened and the party broke its election promise quite easily ignoring the Telugu people. The TDP, as it being held the power, it should have pressurize the BJP. Instead, TDP stays silent on the issue to make sure that it would continue its friendship with the BJP for its own benefits.
Secondly, the BJP and the TDP promised the people of AP to complete the Polavaram project by 2018. With everyone's dismay, BJP is allocating Rs.100 crores in every financial year, instead of sanctioning Rs.4000 crores each year. Unless the TDP gets the project completed before general polls, people of coastal region can't excuse the party.
And lastly, TDP is in a fix to provide reservations for Kapus, which was also one of the crucial election promises of the party. If at all the party breaks its promise, it would surely face the heat of the people belong to that caste. Wish that the TDP would fulfill all these election promises before general polls.
