It turned out to be quite an embarrassing situation that many Telugu movies of recent times are doing great at the US box office but are failing miserably in domestic market. Almost all movies of Prince Mahesh have done good business in US in the recent past. Shockingly, his utter flop movies '1-Nenokkadine' and 'Aagadu' have also run well in the US.
And recently, we have witnessed two more films of other heroes doing good business in the US but failed to reach break even in India. Young Tiger NTR's 'Naannaku Prematho' and Nani's 'Krishnagadi Veerapremagaadha' have scored super hits in the US but stood at below par level in domestic market.
But then, why the number of films which run great in the US and failing in India are getting increased? According to the analysts many interesting factors are responsible for the fate of Telugu films in the US which also include 'group' factors.
One more interesting observation on the difference of the results of US and domestic market is that some yellow channels are repeatedly boasting about the collections of Telugu films in the US and ignoring the collections in Telugu states. Having gone through those programs and observing the success range of Telugu films in the US market, some of the innocent buyers of Telugu states, are paying more price to some of the movies instead of knowing the exact stamina of the heroes in domestic market and eventually, most of these movies are becoming cost failures. If at all, yellow channels start disclosing the domestic stamina of heroes and their movies collections, buyers can be well educated and they make no mistakes in assessing the exact range of heroes and their stamina.
