Prior to the release of Sankranthi movies, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna was misunderstood and suspected if he would trouble Young Tiger NTR's 'Naannaku Prematho's release using his power through the ruling party of AP. Barring everyone's expectations, 'Naannaku Prematho' was released in record number of 1700 screens on the day one which further indicates Balakrishna didn't trouble the release of 'Naannaku Prematho'. It was obvious 'Naannaku Prematho's theaters would be decreasing from day two due to the releases of other new films.
Having gone through the closing/ near to close business figures of all four Pongal movies, Balakrishna's 'Dictator' had to take back seat with around Rs.20 crores share in its full run. King Nagarjuna's 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' has smashed many records and stood as the top grosser among Nagarjuna's films while Sharwanand's 'Express Raja' scored a decent hit. NTR's 'Naannaku Prematho' got the above average result at the ticket windows. NTR's fans were delighted with the result of the movie. It is also heard interesting business numbers were posted in some of the media to make sure the movie enters land mark club though a few cine fans contradict with them.
Having compared 'Dictator' with other Sankarnthi movies, some of the movie lovers got their sympathy shifted towards 'Dictator' from other big films of Sankranthi. They are right now, wishing the 100th film of Balakrishna would be blockbuster hit.
