Right from hero Gopichand to producer Bhavya Anand Prasad, everyone is playing a safe game with their new film ‘Soukhyam’ releasing tomorrow in theaters. In fact, content of the movie as seen in trailers evidentially proves that director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary hasn’t experimented anything new on Gopichand, Regina. Routine light hearted commercial formula and beaten screenplay from Gopi Mohan, Kona Venkat with illogical episodes are going to provide a laughter riot.
‘Audiences are showing more interest to watch entertainers and not those tear jerking scripts or heavy sentiment based stories,’ Gopichand puts it straight. Just like his team, even producer Anand Prasad appears to have taken a safest path. Reports say, ‘Soukhyam’ is sold out in almost all the areas at decent prices which guaranteed early profits for makers.
Given the grown up commercial stamina in Gopichand after ‘Loukyam,’ there was certain space for Anand Prasad to hike the theatrical prices but he wanted the business to be closed and offered the area wise rights at reasonable prices without any deadlocks. Even if the movie opens to average talk, everyone associated with ‘Soukhyam’ trade are going to benefit.
