As we know Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee' got disaster result at the box office in spite of collecting a share of Rs.41+ crores. The movie incurred around 20% losses in all the areas it was released. However, the movie suffered major losses in Overseas ( 50%) and in Nizam (33%).
In the meanwhile, producer of the movie DVV Danayya has paid back Rs.2 crores to Dil Raju, the distributor of Nizam area of the movie. According to a rule in film chamber if any distributor gets more than 20% losses including SGs and MGs, the producer who get a table profit for that movie should compensate to the distributors.As such, Danayya paid back Rs.2 crores to Dil Raju.Since films in Overseas do outright business, no compensation is made to Overseas distributors.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan's new movie will go on sets in the month of December. This is going to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan'. Surender Reddy will direct this movie. Mega producer Allu Aravind and NV Prasad will produce the movie.
