A different kind of mass hysteria was seen when the BJP led NDA got abnormal majority in 2014's polls and held the power at the center. Everyone started praising Narendra Modi more than like anything. No one was in a position it was just an anti incumbency that had fetched victory for the BJP.
As BJP emerged as the biggest political party in the Parliament, obviously, everyone was eager to join the party. In AP, former minister of state, Purandeswari joined the BJP. Rumours were also floating around that Megastar Chiranjeevi would also join the BJP.
However, the poll results of Delhi and Bihar showcased the real stamina of the BJP now. The PM Modi's administration, his speeches in foreign tours, his dressing styles and his arrogance are being criticized by the political analysts. At this juncture, it can't be said the BJP would recreate the magic of 2014 polls in 2019. On the other hand, Congress Party seems to be bouncing back in forthcoming days just because of BJP's innumerable blunders. All in all, Chiranjeevi's decision staying with the Congress party forever will definitely get him good positions in politics in near future.
