It has been publicized that Akkineni Akhil's debut venture 'Akhil' was a socio fantasy entertainer. Since the tagline 'Power of Jua' suggests the movie would be dealt the power of Sun God, movie patrons have felt it was a socio fantasy film.
However, top director VV Vinayak made it clear that 'Akhil' was not a socio fantasy film as it was gossiped and was made of a different concept. The director has also condemned the rumours of re-shoots of the film. " We have actually done betterment in VFX of the climax part of this 2:10 hrs length film," says the director.
'Akhil' is all set to be released on November 11 world wide. Sayesha Saigal has done romantic interest of Akhil in this romantic and adventurous film. Anup Rubens and Thaman have jointly scored the music of the movie. The movie was produced by hero Nithiin on Shresht Movies.
