The commercial success and table profits for ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ along with a well planned overseas release made Ohmkar win back his lost trust. The small screen magician failed initially to repeat the same magic on big screen with rushed up effort ‘Genius.’ Now that, ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ is hailed as a hilarious and meaningful attempt following the set in horror-comedy trend, Ohmkar also succeeded in projecting his young brother Ashwin as a hero material.
What is next from Ohmkar? Will he plan a new project immediately or wait for few more years? If reports are to be believed, this time Ohmkar may not work on his home banner of OAK as he is having discussions with other producers regarding a script. When he is in talks with outsiders, it clearly means the plans are big and the talented story writer, director is surely to bank on present success.
To be much more precise, Ohmkar follows ace director Shankar’s style of scripting and story selection. Beyond commercial entertainment in the form of action, comedy and all masala treatment, he strives to add a social message which is predominantly seen both in ‘Genius’ and ‘Raju Gari Gadi.’ This kind of approach might impress producers when Ohmkar has a strong story line. Hope, he will announce the next assignment very soon.
