Noted comedy artist Kolluru Chidambaram aka Kallu Chidambaram breathed his last on Monday, October 19, 2015. He was 70.He had been suffering from breathing ailments for the past couple of months. His health condition deteriorated since yesterday and was provided artificial respiration in a private hospital.
Kolluru Chidambaram, who hailed from Vizag, became popular as Kallu Chidambaram after the success of his debut film 'Kallu'. From then on he acted around 300 films. He was seen in the movies such as, 'Kondaveeti Donga', 'Chanti', 'Aa Okkatee Adakku', 'Money', 'Govinda Govinda', 'Ammoru', 'Tholiprema', 'Mrugaraju', 'Pelli Pandiri' etc. Kallu Chidambaram, who was graduated in Engineering, worked as an employee in Visakha Port.
