Initially Young Tiger NTR was thought to be lapped up the opportunity of reprising Gona Gannareddy role in 'Rudhramadevi', as the makers of the film approached him then. However, NTR has reportedly asked the director- producer Gunasekhar to extend the role of Gona Gannareddy as a full length hero. Without second thoughts the director said 'no' and narrated the same script to Stylish Star Allu Arjun later. Delightfully, Allu Arjun gave his nod to play the cameo as Gona Gannareddy without any hesitation despite it being a lady oriented historical entertainer.
Gunasekhar, himself, revealed above details in his recent media chat. The director is confident on the blockbuster success of the movie. The movie is also starred by hero Rana as Chalukya Veerabhadra, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Baba Sehgal and many others in crucial roles.
Maestro Ilairaja has composed the music of 'Rudhramadevi'. The movie has been made on Guna Team Works.
