On 2 October 1998, Megastar Chiranjeevi founded the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT), which includes Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks. It is the largest recipient of blood and eye donations in Telugu states.
As the Telugu states have been divided, the 'Chiranjeevi Blood Bank' may confine its services to Telangana only in the future and there is a need for the new branch of Chiranjeevi Blood Bank to be launched in the new Andhra Pradesh state. It is heard that mega fans of Krishna district are currently on a search of land in Vijayawada to establish Chiranjeevi Blood Bank.
As and when the site that suits for the establishment of the blood bank is noticed, Chiranjeevi will talk to the government. It is a known news that lakhs of people were benefited with the blood and eye banks of Chiranjeevi. On the movies front, Chiranjeevi dons greasepaint after eight long years for a cameo role in Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee'.
