There was a time when trade analysts and Mega Fans have thought of ‘Magadheera’ records as invincible. Of course, many films have come close to Ramcharan – Rajamouli’s visual extravaganza but none has expected a film full of melodrama like ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ from Pawan Kalyan to bulldoze it. Finally, the time gap set by the destiny in between ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ is proved to be insignificant when ‘Bahubali’ went on a record spree hunting every record in South Indian cinema circuit.
Literally, all the top stars like Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan flashed like tiny heroes before the towering highlands Prabhas and Rajamouli. Luckily, Mahesh Babu is the first to recover from damage done by ‘Bahubali’ at his stardom. ‘Srimanthudu’ is meant to make all the repairs for his image and again help Mahesh to stand again as Top or Number One Hero. Automatically, Telugu audiences are discussing only about ‘Srimanthudu’ now and that’s wonderful.
Pawan Kalyan’s slowpoke policy in accepting the films and lack of active participation in production schedules has almost made him to lose the name and Power Star fame in the back to back Tsunamis of ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Srimanthudu.’ Even if ‘Sardaar’ surfaces by this year end, we need to observe on how Pawan Kalyan stabilizes his position.
