SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Bahubali’ has opened to excellent crowds all over the world in nearly 4000+ screens. Especially, there was a festive mood set in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States with public turn-outs at theaters resembling a political gathering. Anyways, how good these equations have converted into Box Office verdict will be known only when ‘Bahubali’ first day collection figures roll out into market.
According to unofficial sources, when premiere shows/ benefit shows revenues are added to first day collections (inclusive of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi) of all the languages, worldwide the gross numbers would be as big as Rs.35 to 40 Crores. As today and tomorrow are weekends, probably the revenues would be highest. Apparently, these are just tentative figures.
Trade analysts are waiting for ARKA Media and SS Rajamouli to take a decision on releasing the collections officially through their cinema’s PRO. We may have to wait for couple of more days to know any information about ‘Bahubali’ original collections.
