Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's industry hit( Tamil Nadu) movie 'Chandramukhi' was released on the auspicious day of Tamil New Year on 14th of April, 2005. Rajinikanth's stylish and decent performance as a psychiatrist and Jyothika's terrific performance as 'Ganga' mesmerized the audiences then.
If the reports from Kollywood's sources are to be believed, Rajinikanth's 159th film will be releasing on 14 April, 2016 as a new year's gift again which further indicating 'Chandramukhi's hit sentiment is being followed by Rajini's new film's makers.
Rajinikanth's new movie will be directed by Ranjith and will be produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. Santhosh Narayanan will score the music of the movie. The movie's shoot will begin in the month of August in Malaysia.
