In the recent past, when a noteworthy leader from the Congress party was died, sympathy on his demise was spread like a wildfire and it was used quite well by the politicians. The leader's statues were installed in almost in every street of United AP in such a way people were exasperated looking at those statues everywhere. Eventually, the successors of the leaders had to face the ire of the people.
The TDP government seems to have fallen in a state of mania of installing statues of some of the leaders across AP. Apart from unveiling statues in the places of public utility like highways, roads, junctions, cross roads, the party dares enough erecting the statues in holy and sacred places wherein people do their religious rituals. It remains to be seen if anyone approaches courts seeking justice or not.
Ironically, when the real pride of Telugu people, Sri Krishnadevaraya's statue was unveiled in Railway Koduru recently, TDP leaders filed cases that there was no permission for the idol launch in that place. That's the dual standards of TDP for you folks.
