'Manam' movie has a significance in the history of Telugu cinema. This Akkineni multi-starrer has all three generations of Akkineni heroes enacted for the movie. The movie was released on 23rd May, 2014 and completed one year of its release on 23rd of May, 2015.
Natasamrat Akkineni Nageswara Rao, King Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya played lead roles in the movie while Akhil flashed in a cameo role during pre climax of the movie. Though there was a confusion in the story, the director of the movie, Vikram Kumar did not get confused in writing a screen play that could comprehend by everyone.
Samantha lived in the role given to her in the movie. Anup Rubens' music was melodious. Nagarjuna, himself, produced the movie on Annapurna Studios. Since the movie was made as a clean family and romantic entertainer the movie was lauded by critics apart from the audiences.
