Maverick director Puri Jagannadh might have felt to be blessed for directing Tollywood's craziest movie, Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film. However, the director revealed an interesting news about how the project gets materialized.
" Few years ago, during the premiere function of Buddha Hoga Tera Baap', Mr Bachchan had requested and convinced Chiranjeevi to get back into films and and had recommended my name to direct his landmark 150th film. Later, Chiranjeevi was busy with his political commitments and I was busy with my projects," said Puri to a leading English daily.
Puri also added, " One day, Chranjeevi called and asked me to come to his office. When I went there, I saw a list of directors on it and my my name was highlighted. Chiranjeevi said that out of all the directors, he considered me most competent and able to handle his 150th film. I immediately hugged him." Meanwhile Puri said that he doesn't feel pressure directing this landmark film.
