She Was Vytla Selection

Having passed the prime time, glamorous Kriti Kharbhanda understood the reality on how to survive in Tollywood for few more years. Generally, shelf time for heroines is less compared to heroes. Like making hay while the sun shines, Kriti Kharbhanda gave her best shot in first proving to be a performance based artist with ‘Teen Maar’ and then oozed the oomph besides young hero Ram in ‘Ongole Gitta.’ Unfortunately, both of them misfired and Kriti soon disappeared from main focus.

Now, the call from Srinu Vytla to act as sister to Ramcharan in ‘My Name Is Raju’ (tentative title) is generating the new hope. Thankfully, Kriti also have no regrets in playing the sister roles. ‘It’s the character which drove me to sign this. There is nothing to lose for me with this film,’ Kriti confidently said.

As the film is said to be based on brother-sister sentiment formula, obviously Kriti would have a chance to excel in the character. Moreover, Srinu Vytla preferentially selected Kriti only after watching her dedication in past films. Similar to Upendra began a new innings in Tollywood with ‘S/O Sathya Murthy,’ hope Kriti will also earn a major break to fulfill the sister roles in Telugu and Tamil cinema.
