Actress Radhika Apte's criticism on Tollywood made celebrities and audiences getting hurt and anger with the actress. She said that Tollywood is male dominated and heroine are treated disrespectfully here. Thee allegations of Radhika were quashed almost all the Tollywood's film fraternity. In fact, TFI is the only industry that knows how a host is respected.
However, Kriti Sanon, who played female lead in Prince Mahesh's '1-Nenokkdine' finds fault with Radhika's allegations on TFI. “Every industry is patriarchal. In Bollywood, if you are working with one of the top actors, he is bound to be the centre of attention," said Kriti in a leading English daily's interview.
She also added, " Unless I am deliberately snubbed or made to feel small, I’m ok with the hierarchy on the sets.” “I’ve never encountered any blatant partiality. I’ve never been sidelined for the sake of the hero. The units of both the films that I’ve done so far in Telugu have been fun to shoot with. I love Tollywood as much as Bollywood. I started in T’town, and now I’ve another Telugu film ready for release. I’d love to continue doing Telugu films. I find the industry disciplined and very work friendly."
