Prince Mahesh has cut down his remuneration for his new movie 'Srimanthudu'. This news was revealed by none other than Superstar Krishna in a recent interview. Speaking about the huge bucks shelled in for Mahesh's latest offings '1-Nenokkadine' and 'Aagadu', Krishna said, '1-Nenokkadine' and 'Aagadu' were made with Rs.70 crores each. If a big hero's movie is made with Rs.40 crores budget, the filmmakers can earn profits. That's why Mahesh has intervened in the production of his new movie.( Srimanthudu). He cut down his remuneration to ensure the budget should not be overflown."
'Srimanthudu' is currently on sets. Shruthi Haasan is romancing with Mahesh in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music of the movie. The movie is being directed by Koratala Siva on Mythri Movies. The movie is slated for release in the month of July.
