An emotional send-off was given to the legendary director of Indian Cinema, K Balachander. The director's fans, members of his family, film fraternity gathered to bid adieu to the great filmmaker. It is known news that the director breathed his last on Tuesday in a private hospital due to prolonged illness. He was cremated this afternoon at Beesent Road, Chennai. Unfortunately, Kamal Haasan, the disciple of Balachander missed to bid goodbye to his mentor. As Kamal Haasan was busy with the post production work of his new movie 'Uththama Villain' in Los Angeles, he could not leave for Chennai on time. The actor will reach to Chennai on the night of Wednesday and meets the family members of Balachander.
