Great patriot, leader and the late Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary, every year, is celebrated as Children's Day. Every year, the union and state governments celebrate children's day with full of spirit. Unfortunately, this year, no such josh from the governments have been noticed. On the other hand, late Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi was also not remembered on her death anniversary which fell on 31st of October. Indira Gandhi, as a matter of fact, made entire people, especially the women of India feel proud of her courageous administrative skills.
And last but not the least, another late PM, Rajiv Gandhi's name is being replaced with other leaders in prestigious projects, welfare schemes and industries. But the million dollar question is that with these kind of gestures, Can the governments erase the greatness of above leaders from people hearts? What if the ruling parties are replaced with other political parties in next general elections? Whatever the party that gets into the power, it should maintain some ethics in respecting all time great leaders of India.
