The former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi have completely contrasting attitudes and characters. If Manmohan Singh preferred working nonstop like a machine without seeking publicity on his work, Modi proved himself one of the best orators among the PMs. It also appears he prefers publicity for all of his plans, movements and programs. Critics opine, both the PMs are right in their perspective.
Meanwhile, Mr. Singh was conferred Japan's highest civilian award for his contribution in strengthening Indo-Japanese tie ups. Perhaps the Japanese government values work rather than rhetoric skills of Mr.Singh. However, Mr.Modi's supporters say the PM will also get more of such honours as he gets the seniority in holding the PM post. Above all, it remains to be seen if Modi gets any inspiration with the latest achievement of Manmohan Singh's.
