Bollywood star hero Ajay Degn's new film 'Singham Returns' created first day record in collections this year. According to trade reports, 'Singham Returns' collected Rs. 32.09 crores on the first day of its release beating the previous record of this year, Salman Khan's 'Kick' of Rs.26.52 crores. Top ten first day grossers of all time are concerned, 'SR' stood at fourth place after 'Dhoom 3(36.22 cr.), 'Chennai Express'( 33.12 cr.) and 'Ek Tha Tiger'( 32.93 cr.).
Since 'Singham Returns' was released on the national holiday of 15th August, the movie could manage to get record collections. Usually, a holiday release of any movie gets 50% more collection comparing to a non-holiday release.
