The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been succeeded in leading the BJP in the general elections and forming the stable government at the center. It was 30 days, since he had sworn in as the 15th PM of India. A billion plus people of India pinned all of their hopes on Modi changing their lives. Unfortunately, as far as the first month of his tenure, as PM is concerned, there was price hike everywhere.
Reports are that petrol prices were hiked by 1.69/L. diesel Re.1/L, sugar Rs.3/kg, vegetables Rs.10-12/kg, onions-Rs.15/kg and train ticket fares-14.2%. Apart from the price hikes, there were some new conditions in social networking sites like FB, and imposing dress codes to women. However, many analysts are saying that Modi should be given sufficient time to get fruitful results for his reforms and just one month of administration cannot be taken for assessment of one's capabilities.
