The farmers and the employees were said to be prime reasons for the defeat of the TDP in 2004. Especially, there were reports that he treated employees as his slaves and servants. Fortunately, state's bifurcation led to the victory of the TDP in general elections, 2014. This time CBN appears to be more cautious in dealing the issues of farmers. He is likely to sign the Rs.70,000 crores loan cancellation file of the farmers on the day of his swearing in ceremony.
On the other hand, CBN is likely to give a major blow to employees and other middle class people. As Chandrababu transfers maximum budget to the cancellation of loans to the farmers, most of the other sections will surely face problems. If the inside reports are to be believed, the PRC proposed just 29% of fitment for the employees, which is less than 10% of the previous PRC's fitment implemented by the congress government. However, the employees are hoping 50% fitment this time. Obviously, the new PRC would surely offer bitter experience for the employees and which might led to the agitations of the employees against the TDP. It is also heard that CBN has decided not to increase the retirement age to 60 years for the employees and no change of health card norms.
