As a father the trials of Brahmanandam to make his son Gautham stand as a hero in Tollywood have gone wasted. All his last three films viz. ‘Pallakilo Pellikoothuru, Vaareva’ and finally, ‘Basanti’ are declared as true flops. In fact, the expectations were set very high for ‘Basanti’ with critically acclaimed director Chaitanya Dantuluri dealing the subject of terrorism mixed with love. However, the result had no change. Sources now say that, makers of ‘Basanti’ who have lost huge money in production of the film are putting pressure on Brahmi to do a movie for them in order to recover at least few portions of their losses.
A title of ‘Naakkonchem Thikkundhi Daaniko Lekkundhi’ has been registered by them and an official confirmation is awaited. Anyways, if Gautham could not stand as hero there is another option left for Brahmi himself to be elevated as hero from the status of a star comedian. Let us see, how far the damage can be controlled.
