Following is the list of super flops of tollywood for the year, 2013 and the reasons for their failures.
* THOOFAN: Mega Power Star Ram Charan's bollywood debut movie 'Thoofan' tasted disaster result in both Hindi and Telugu versions. Poor screen play, story, lack of entertainment, no dances and poor music are said to be some of the reasons for the failure of the movie. Being a dubbed movie, the movie, obviously, got less openings than the main stream movies. Due to agitations in Seemandhra region, the movie's opening collections got affected.
* VARNA: This Tamil, Telugu bilingual movie was made with a whopping budget of Rs.60 crores but failed to show its mark at the box office. However, director's creativity of connecting two worlds appeared to be overdose to the audiences.
* SHADOW: The director is said to be responsible for handling an outdated script and presenting poor screen play.
* GREEKUVEERUDU: This family drama could not attract the audiences. The visual effects shown in the second half irritated the audiences.
* RAMAYYA VASTAVAYYA: Although the first half of the movie was made with full of entertainment, violence in the second half made the movie to taste a disaster result.
* BHAI: This mafia and comedy entertainer failed to generate interest among audiences due to lack of freshness in the subject.
* MASALA: Although Venkatesh has come up with hilarious performance through broken English dialogues, this multi-starrer movie could not live up to the expectations. Poor screen play and very dull climax made the movie getting utter flop status.
* ACTION 3D: Anil Sunkara has tried something new in the shoes of a director. However, the result of this 3D movie disappointed him. His amateur screen play and poor 3D effects are the prime reasons for the failure of the movie at the box office.
* ONGOLE GITTA: Hero Ram's 'Ongole Gitta' bombed at the box office due to weak script and overdose of mass elements.
* OM 3D: Although the movie was technically well made, it failed at the box office due to no emotional depth in the content,, poor screen play and the music.
