'Robo' - 'Khaleja' Sentiment Haunts '1'?

It was 1st October, 2010. Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Robo' movie was released and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. However, on 7th October, 2010, Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Khaleja' was released and tasted disaster result at the box office. Although the substance and the screen play of the movie were well appreciated by the critics, the movie could not score well at the box office. Analysts felt that the visual effects and the grandeur of 'Robo' made the audiences to throng the theaters and 'Khaleja' could not sustain the heat of 'Robo' then.

According to the latest reports, Mahesh's '1-Nenokkadine' and Rajinikanth's 'Vikramasimha' will be releasing with a day's gap for the season of Pongal. But then, will 'Robo' and 'Khaleja' results be repeated again? Analysts say similar fate of the movies will not be repeated anymore. Since '1' is being made as a superb action entertainer, it might not give up that easier as 'Khaleja' did it. Moreover, it is still interesting to see if 'Vikramasimha' does on par with the result of 'Robo' or not. While some more people argue, dubbing flicks should not be released in festive seasons. On a whole, move lovers hope both 'Vikramasimha' and '1' would rock for the forthcoming Pongal season.
