Ever since Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Yevadu's release date has been confirmed as 19th December, there have been big demands from mega fans to postpone the movie's release for Pongal. The reasons are quite clear. If 'Yevadu' gets an upper hand than opposition heroes' movies, obviously, Ram Charan will emerge as the strong contender of number one position putting check to other heroes. Moreover, 'Yevadu' is being released by Geetha Films, and Dil Raju through their own distribution. As a result, the movie will get sufficient number of theaters for release. Also, the movie gets an advantage of festival as it gets extra shows for screening during festival days.
As per the gossip mongers, 'Yevadu' might be postponed for Pongal and the release date of the movie may be on either 8th or 9th of January, as the movie gets record number of theaters for screening on these days. On the other hand, Allu Arjun's 'Race Gurram' is likely to be postponed to the last week of January to make a room for 'Yevadu's big release. However, we have to wait for some more days whether these gossips are proved to be right or wrong. 'Yevadu' was directed by Vamsi Pydipally on Sri Venkateswara Creations.
